About the role

  • Account Manager managing existing clients and acquiring new business in IT Security sector. Collaborating with client partners and developing sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage our long-standing clients on all matters related to IT Security
  • Independently acquire new customers and additional business
  • Collaborate with Client Executives and Client Partners of our strategic accounts
  • Actively maintain relationships with selected technology partners
  • Leverage customer meetings, trade shows and events to engage and excite customers
  • Responsible for developing and implementing account planning, including designing and applying appropriate customer engagement strategies
  • Build a relevant pipeline, qualify opportunities and accurately reflect them in the forecast
  • Manage the end-to-end proposal process—from acquisition and negotiation to contract closing—and coordinate the opportunity teams

Requirements

  • Initial sales experience in IT Security, IT services/Managed Security Services and product business
  • Strong knowledge in developing sales strategies, account planning and acquisition and proposal processes
  • Personal network and relationships with key decision-makers in the relevant industry
  • Sales-driven personality with a strong customer focus, persuasive ability and pronounced consulting skills in an intercultural context
  • Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce
  • High willingness to travel and business-fluent English
