Responsibilities
Actively builds relationships in the community to educate and guide families in their preplanning decisions
Excels in ability to set an appointment, give presentations, and provide professional park tours
Completes paperwork timely and accurately, including all specific requirements for contract processing
Tracks all sales activity and ratios to measure areas of strength and improvement
Uses CRM to track all contacts and ensure professional follow-up
Contacts new and existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs
Prospects daily using multiple methods including cold calling, door knocking, mailers, seminars, and outside events
Provides world class customer service and a positive attitude
Keeps current in areas as they relate to our profession (veterans benefits, social security benefits, end of life decisions)
Builds relationships with churchs, civic groups, veteran organizations, hospice, senior living, & other community groups
Schedules and conducts pre-planning seminars in accordance with established program
Answers telephone inquiries about cemetery products and services pre-need planning
Attends training programs scheduled with sales leaders and regional leadership
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record
Must have reliable transportation
Knowledge of current federal, state and local regulations related to the cemetery and funeral industry
