About the role
- Software Engineer - DevSecOps designing modern software systems for aerospace programs at Northrop Grumman. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in an Agile environment to implement DevSecOps lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, architecture, development, deployment, and operation of modern DevSecOps software factory
- Standup of large-scale software factory used by software teams
- Implement segments of DevSecOps lifecycle - continuous build, continuous integration, continuous test, continuous cyber, and continuous deployment pipeline
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in an Agile software development environment
- Work with various disciplines such as Systems Engineering, Real-time & Embedded Software, Test Automation, DevSecOps, and Systems Test
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline
- 2 years of related professional/military experience in Software Engineering including a background in agile development lifecycle, OR a Master’s degree with a background in agile development lifecycle, OR a Ph.D.
- Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Python, Swift)
- Experience with one of the following change management tracking system tools: Jira, ClearQuest, Asana
- Must have experience with one of the following configuration management systems: GIT, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, Subversion
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Interim Secret clearance
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
