About the role
- DevOps Engineer at One Pass building and improving cloud infrastructure in AWS. Collaborating with engineers on deployments, reliability, and automation in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Help design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS
- Contribute to and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform
- Write and maintain automation scripts and tooling (Python, shell scripting, etc.)
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows to improve reliability and efficiency
- Assist with operating and troubleshooting production infrastructure, including networking, databases, and services
- Help deploy and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitor system health, logs, and alerts; assist with diagnosing and resolving issues
- Participate in incident response and shared on‑call rotations with guidance and support
- Collaborate with engineers to improve system reliability, performance, and developer experience
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- 3–6+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or software engineering roles
- Hands‑on experience working with AWS or another major cloud provider
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Experience with Docker; Kubernetes experience a plus
- Basic experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Understanding of Linux systems and cloud networking fundamentals
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
