About the role
- Senior Analyst overseeing Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system for finance and project management. Delivering user support, managing complex accounting tasks, and optimizing system performance.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting user issues and providing ongoing training to staff and "super users" on Vantagepoint modules
- Manage complex accounting tasks including monthly accruals, intercompany billing, and revenue recognition methods
- Research budget variances and develop custom reports or dashboards to provide leadership with actionable data and project insights via Vantagepoint and Microsoft Excel
- Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Oversee system upgrades and performance optimization, ensuring the environment remains scalable and reliable
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or work experience
- 5+ years of experience with Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint, preferably within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
- Deep understanding of project-based accounting (GAAP and FAR standards)
- Proficiency in developing SQL-based reports and utilizing advanced Excel for data analysis
- Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Deltek Vantagepoint Accounting or Master Certification is highly preferred
