• You’ll be responsible for managing and optimising our existing paid channels — primarily Meta and Google Ads — while aggressively testing and scaling new channels such as TikTok, affiliates, and other performance-led opportunities over time.
• This is a hands-on role. You’ll be in the platforms every day: building and optimising campaigns, managing budgets, developing testing roadmaps, and continuously improving performance against CPA and volume targets.
• You’ll work closely with creative and content teammates to shape what we put into market, and you’ll be expected to have strong views on what’s working, why it’s working, and what we should do next.
• Measurement and experimentation are central to the role. You’ll design and run structured tests across audiences, creative, bidding, and landing experiences, and you’ll be comfortable digging into data to diagnose issues and unlock new growth.
• You’ll also help improve how we think about funnel performance more broadly — spotting drop-offs, identifying opportunities, and feeding insights back into product, creative, and messaging.
• You’ll work closely with colleagues in the Growth team, as well as the content, design, and wider commercial teams, to make sure performance marketing is driving efficient, scalable growth for Nous.

• Design and ship an agentic flow that takes a messy bundle of bills from a member, classifies them, extracts key terms and recommends a better set-up.
• Build an internal tool that turns a 10-step Ops process into a 2-click workflow, saving the team hours every week and letting us scale to many more members without growing headcount linearly.
• Lead a spike on a new integration with a major provider’s API, handling flaky responses and edge cases gracefully while keeping the member experience fast and simple.
• Work with Product and Data to define a metric that actually captures “household peace of mind”, then ship experiments that move it, not just vanity engagement numbers.
• Take the lead on projects within a high-context engineering team.
• Actively contribute to product strategy and wider company goals, not just implementation details.

• **Ship small, end-to-end slices every 1–2 weeks.**
• Be a **domain owner** in one or more critical areas (e.g. front-end, workflows/Temporal, infrastructure, agentic-AI core, data modelling).
• **Design “paved roads” for a small, fast team.**
• Act as a **multiplier for other engineers.**
• Create **written clarity** around the work you lead.
• You’ll report directly to the CTO and work closely with Product, Ops, and rest of leadership. There aren’t many layers: how you frame problems and ship solutions will directly influence what the company does next.
• In your first 6–12 months, you might:
• **Re-design how new members see value.**
• **Invent and roll out a standard pattern for long-running switches.**
• **Own the front-end platform or another core domain.** 
• Throughout, you’ll be shipping code regularly, not just writing docs or drawing diagrams.
