About the role

  • Program Cost Control Analyst providing financial and administrative support for earned value management at Northrop Grumman. Analyzing performance metrics and integrating cost/schedule for effective project management.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support
  • Work on Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including establishment of Work Breakdown Structure, performance criteria assessment, maintenance of estimates to complete, and variance analysis
  • Develop budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration
  • Analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques
  • Support the preparation and submission of monthly CDRLs such as IPMR

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting and/or industry related fields OR Master's degree
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher
  • Ability to work on site daily in San Diego or Palmdale, CA
  • Understanding of Business Systems (SAP/Cobra)
  • Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
