About the role

  • Designer of tooling for GE Aerospace, specializing in aircraft engine parts manufacturing. Responsibilities include 3D modeling and developing prototypes in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design components and assemblies
  • Create 3D models and produce detailed drawings in accordance with company standards
  • Define required geometric tolerancing
  • Develop tooling concepts and prototypes that will be validated and subsequently deployed for the manufacture of aircraft engine components

Requirements

  • Hold a DEC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years' design experience
  • Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written (functional English required)
  • Proficient with CAD software
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with strong organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and with various stakeholders
  • Results-oriented
  • Ability to work autonomously
