About the role

• Mid-Senior Developer building and maintaining security tools for NordVPN. Work involves design, development, and deployment of monitoring systems and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build security tools like vulnerability scanners and monitoring systems
• Design and implement distributed systems
• Integrate with external APIs and security tools
• Create web interfaces for tools and dashboards
• Work with databases
• Write reliable code with proper error handling
• Deploy and maintain tools in production
• Adapt quickly to learn new technologies

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python or Golang (both is a plus)
• Full-stack mindset
• Experience building tools from scratch
• Database skills (SQL, ORM)
• API development
• Problem-solving ability
• Good understanding of networking basics
