About the role

  • Principal Developer enhancing CNCS, Nokia's newest product for core networks. Leading software lifecycle management and customer engagement in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive feature enhancements in CNCS across multiple core network NFs like SBC, TAS, CSCF, MRF.
  • Contribute towards all aspects of software life cycle management including requirement analysis, design, implementation, and code reviews, and ensure timely delivery with quality.
  • Analyse issues found in internal testing as well as in customer deployments in detail, identify the root cause and provide solutions with optimal quality.
  • Engage in discussions with customers to understand their requirements, concerns, and identify optimal solutions.
  • Own/Participate in process reviews/inspections, workshops, task forces and research groups related to Core technologies.
  • Apply and maintain quality standards. Participate in process and tools evolutions and identify improvements therein.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in R&D on Telco-grade products.
  • Should have hands-on experience in designing and developing Cloud Native, Microservices applications, using Containers and Virtualization Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Consul, Redis, gRPC, Helm, Envoy and Open Source Integration.
  • Good working knowledge in CI/CD DevOps and CI automation tools like Jenkins.
  • Good working knowledge of MMTEL standards including GSMA IR.92, IR.94, IR.51
  • Good working knowledge in VOLTE/IMS, SIP in 4G/5G core technologies.
  • Knowledge of Nokia Telco products CFX-5000, NTAS, Nokia SBC is a plus.
  • Able to participate and provide insights in technical forward-looking studies, technical features definitions, issues resolution.
  • Hands-on Experience in overall Software Development and Processes
