Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team (20–50+).
Establish best practices for architecture, system design, and technical excellence.
Partner with Product and Design to ensure strategic alignment and timely delivery.
Implement scalable processes that enable rapid development and high-quality releases.
Hire, develop, and retain exceptional engineering talent and future leaders.
Provide technical direction on architectural decisions and system scalability.
Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation.
Collaborate effectively across time zones, ensuring strong alignment with U.S.-based teams.
Requirements
7+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years managing teams of 20+ engineers (ideally scaling to 50+).
Proven experience as a hands-on engineer with strong system design expertise.
Demonstrated success leading and scaling teams in fast-paced startup environments.
Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate across geographies.
Experience building engineering structure, mentoring leads, and driving organizational growth.
Strong partnership skills with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Design, Executive).
Willingness to work flexible hours to ensure alignment with global teams.
Fintech, marketplace, or healthcare industry experience is a plus.
