AI Consultant Engineer working on AI & Innovation solutions like chatbots and voicebots. Collaborating with clients to develop tailored AI solutions and providing technical consultancy.
Responsibilities
As an AI Consultant Engineer (all genders), you will join a highly qualified AI & Innovation team reporting directly to the Vice President of AI & Innovation.
You will play a central role in the technical consulting and development of tailored GenAI, chatbot, and voicebot solutions and ensure their smooth integration into existing systems.
Together with our clients, you will analyze requirements and develop appropriate AI-based chatbot and voicebot solutions.
For technical implementation, your excellent Python programming skills—ideally complemented by JavaScript—and your experience with software development processes (e.g., Agile, Scrum) will support you.
You will use prompt engineering to make our solutions smarter and more efficient.
You will conduct workshops and training sessions and accompany projects from concept to go-live, as well as provide support for troubleshooting complex support cases.
As the primary point of contact for your client projects, you will work closely with internal and cross-country teams, document your work thoroughly, and advise your clients on complex issues.
Requirements
You have a degree in Computer Science, ideally with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification or relevant experience.
You program confidently in Python, ideally also in JavaScript, and have a solid understanding of modern AI topics (LLMs, function calling, RAG, Text-to-Speech, Speech-to-Text).
You have experience in technical customer support and possess strong consulting skills.
You have knowledge of modern software development processes and tools, including Git, debugging, testing, and documentation.
You use prompt engineering to improve the efficiency and accuracy of AI-powered applications.
You work in a structured way, analyze customer requirements with a solution-oriented approach, and advise your clients as partners on an equal footing.
You communicate confidently in German (C1 or native-level) and English.
Knowledge in telecommunications (e.g., PBX, contact center systems, UCaaS, SIP, VoIP, NGN) is an advantage.
