About the role
- Automated Verification Systems Engineer working with a team to design automated verification strategies and integration tests for software applications. Involves collaboration with engineers and developers in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with mission engineers to design verification strategies using dynamic and realistic mission test data
- Collaborate with developers to design Cypress-based automated test scripts that verify functional requirements across multiple cloud-based applications
- Design automated tests that exercise UI-based and API-based functionality
- Maintain and enhance automated tests to exercise new features as agile programs deploy new software features
- Analyze third-party software applications and track dependencies for the purpose of designing automated verification strategies
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph (or willingness to obtain a polygraph)
- BA/BS in STEM field or related experience
- 7+ years of related systems engineering experience with planning and scheduling software
- Experience with crafting acceptance criteria for functional requirements
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
