Responsibilities
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Azure infrastructure, ensuring it remains robust and scalable to meet the needs of our growing operations.
In this role you will support internal teams with the deployment and operation of applications, ensuring seamless integration and reliable functionality.
Your expertise in cloud engineering, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD will be essential to drive our modernization initiatives.
You will help design and continuously evolve our cloud infrastructure and platform with a strong focus on quality.
You will drive IT projects from conception and evaluation through implementation, operation, and support.
You will automate processes and infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible to guarantee scalable, consistent environments.
You will implement and operate CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth and secure deployments.
You will support mission-critical systems as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation, responding to alerts promptly.
You will collaborate closely with architects and with your agile, international team to create guidelines, best practices, and shared engineering standards, while mentoring and supporting colleagues in their professional development.
Requirements
Experience working confidently with Microsoft Azure in production environments.
Proven ability to automate infrastructure with Terraform and/or Ansible according to modern engineering standards, including creating CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in Python scripting to support automation, tooling, and operational tasks.
Ability to incorporate IT security and regulatory requirements (including KRITIS) into concepts and day-to-day operations.
A holistic, platform-engineering mindset focused on improving architectures, processes, and overall service quality.
Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
