About the role

  • Content Operations Assistant responsible for hardware setup, gameplay progression, and market research at Nex. Supporting the leadership team in product research and development.

Responsibilities

  • Hardware & Device Setup: Install games, update firmware, and manage network/TV pairing for various platforms in the US office.
  • Gameplay & Progression: Play through tutorials and unlock specific levels in both internal and competitor titles to prepare them for team reviews.
  • Product Research: Gather market data and statistics (sales, reviews, etc.) to support competitive analysis.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Assist with broader content operations tasks

Requirements

  • Strong Interest in Gaming: Comfortable across various genres and platforms (VR, consoles, mobile).
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to set up hardware and resolve basic connectivity or installation issues independently.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent observational skills to catch gameplay nuances and maintain an organized hardware environment.
  • Communication: Ability to follow detailed instructions and provide clear updates on research and setup status.
  • Reliability: Ability to meet deadlines and ensure devices are ready for scheduled review sessions.
