About the role

  • Category Insights Manager at Newell Brands driving actionable insights and category strategy across ANZ. Leading a team to support business planning and growth opportunities in a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ANZ monthly and quarterly category reporting
  • Deliver actionable insights to support range reviews and category planning
  • Identify category growth opportunities across customers and channels
  • Support major retail events and business planning cycles
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to drive category growth strategies
  • Present category insights and recommendations to retail partners
  • Analyse market and shopper data using Nielsen, IRI or similar platforms
  • Ensure high standards of data accuracy, reporting and insight generation

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or similar discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in Category Management, Insights or Analytics
  • Strong experience working with Nielsen, IRI or equivalent data sources
  • FMCG or General Merchandise industry experience
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical capability
