About the role

Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Dutch accounting standards and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and management reports for internal leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Manage end-to-end financial operations including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with Dutch tax laws.
- Oversee financial systems integration, consolidation processes, and ERP improvements.
- Provide financial insights, scenario analyses, and data-driven recommendations to VPs and managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification strongly preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Financial Controller or similar role; experience in scale-ups, SaaS, or high-growth tech environments is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent command of English (our main working language).
- High proficiency with financial systems and ERP software (Exact experience preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Hands-on mindset and eagerness to continuously learn and adapt.
