About the role

  • Software Engineer on the Ads Identity team developing Conversion APIs for measurement and optimization. Collaborating with a skilled team to enhance advertising technologies while prioritizing user privacy.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Netflix Conversion APIs for Measurement, Optimization, Retargeting, and Reporting capabilities
  • Build high-volume, low-latency services for near-real-time ingestion of user engagement events
  • Collaborate within a skilled team dedicated to ads technology and user privacy

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in building server-to-server, batch and pixel Conversion APIs
  • Expertise in leveraging conversion events for retargeting and outcome-based optimization
  • Practical experience with streaming event architectures and related technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink)
  • Strong understanding of the ad technology and advertising landscape
  • Familiarity with global ads regulations, privacy, consent, and legal compliance
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
