About the role
- Salesforce Manual QA Tester responsible for manual testing of Salesforce applications and validating business requirements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in a hybrid remote setup.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom solutions.
- Review and analyze user stories, requirements, and technical documentation to create detailed test plans and test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing to ensure software meets defined standards.
- Identify, document, and track defects in the bug-tracking system and work closely with developers to resolve them.
- Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, and automation rules to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Test Salesforce reports, dashboards, and data integrity to ensure accurate insights and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software.
- Stay updated on Salesforce updates and releases to ensure system compatibility and best practices.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Manual QA Tester, with at least 1 year focused on Salesforce applications.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce functionalities, including workflows, validation rules, and reports.
- Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with testing tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
- Understanding of SDLC and QA best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
