About the role
- Looking for an experienced SDET with expertise in automation and functional testing using Playwright for developing test frameworks. Collaborating in a fast-paced environment for testing electron based applications.
Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end functional and automation testing across electron based applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and business teams to understand requirements.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
- Ensure high-quality releases through regression testing, integration testing, and performance validation.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and other Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of strong experience in SDET (both automation + functional)
- 2+ years of experience with Playwright (mandatory)
- Strong programming experience in JavaScript or TypeScript (at least one required)
- Experience developing automation frameworks and scripts from scratch
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
