About the role
- Full-Stack Software Engineer developing end-to-end web applications and integrating AI solutions at Nelnet. Collaborating on software projects and optimizing application performance across tech stacks.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive web applications using technologies like Tailwind, ShadCN, Typescript, and NextJS.
- Build and maintain APIs and backend services using Python, FastAPI, and Rust.
- Collaborate with the Artificial Intelligence team to integrate large language models into applications.
- Continuously monitor and optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack software development
- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like Tailwind, ShadCN, Typescript, and NextJS.
- Proficient in backend development using Python, FastAPI, and Rust.
- Experience with deploying and managing applications on AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
