About the role
- OpenShift Fresher assisting Cloud team in managing containerized applications using Red Hat OpenShift. Supporting CI/CD, deployment automation, and cloud-native application environments.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift for container orchestration
- Perform Linux system administration tasks (user management, file permissions, package installation, service management)
- Troubleshoot application, container, and cluster-level issues
- Monitor system logs using tools like journalctl, top, ps, netstat, etc.
- Support CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance (Jenkins/GitHub/GitLab)
- Assist in resolving deployment failures and environment-related issues
- Work with YAML files for Kubernetes/OpenShift resource configuration
- Maintain documentation and follow DevOps best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
