About the role

  • OpenShift Fresher assisting Cloud team in managing containerized applications using Red Hat OpenShift. Supporting CI/CD, deployment automation, and cloud-native application environments.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift for container orchestration
  • Perform Linux system administration tasks (user management, file permissions, package installation, service management)
  • Troubleshoot application, container, and cluster-level issues
  • Monitor system logs using tools like journalctl, top, ps, netstat, etc.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance (Jenkins/GitHub/GitLab)
  • Assist in resolving deployment failures and environment-related issues
  • Work with YAML files for Kubernetes/OpenShift resource configuration
  • Maintain documentation and follow DevOps best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with internship experience can apply
  • Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals

  • Basic shell scripting
  • Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization
