About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer leading DevOps design and implementation for gaming projects at Stillfront. Collaborating with international teams to enhance gaming infrastructure and reduce costs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of DevOps across IT Hub projects
- Lead by example best practices to team and game studios/franchises
- Contribute to player delight by reducing complexity and technical debt
- Identify and action opportunities to reduce cost
- Coordinate and collaborate with a talented network of engineers at each studio/franchise
- Be inquisitive about current DevOps strategies and eager to evaluate alternatives
- Using LLM/AI tooling to gain efficiency while improving quality
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps with high interest in gaming
- Comfortable being a first responder to infrastructure issues
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and with common development tools and practices, including Python environments
- Hands-on experience building infrastructure from the ground up with Infrastructure-as-a-Service tools like Terraform or Pulumi
- Experience architecting and managing applications at scale using Kubernetes
- Experience with Git, with bonus points for experience converting codebases from competing version control systems into Git
- Well-acquainted with AWS, but also experienced with GCP, Azure, and even on-premise infrastructure
- Passion for monitoring and logging with tools like Grafana and Kibana
- Eye for security and data privacy both from a policy perspective and practical engineering tooling
- Fluent English, both verbal and written.
