About the role
- Mechanical Engineer working on mobile mapping products for NavVis. Involves hands-on development and collaboration with engineers in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical components and assemblies from first concepts to ramp-up of serial production.
- Own parts and assembly groups within development projects and support the execution of mechanical concepts together with senior engineers.
- Develop and validate design concepts through targeted prototyping and iterative design reviews.
- Work closely with production engineering and other teams in Development & Operations to ensure manufacturable, robust solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (e.g., Techniker), plus early professional experience or high potential experience as a early career engineer.
- 3+ years as a Mechanical Engineer working on developing products.
- Experience working with CAD systems and creating parts, drawings and assemblies.
- Solid technical understanding and basic knowledge of manufacturing methods and materials.
- A hands-on, collaborative and proactive mindset, with an interest in building and testing real hardware products.
