About the role
- Werkstudent supporting the economic planning of resources and coordinating with planning teams. Handling operational requirements for public transport services in Münster.
Responsibilities
- Support activities for the economic planning of resources in coordination with the Head of Operations Planning and colleagues from the planning department
- Creation and coordination of replacement (SEV) services in consultation with the site operations planner
- Coordination of replacement services with contracting authorities
- Support for tendering the respective replacement services according to the transport contract
- Support in placing orders for replacement services with bus companies
- Quality control of SEV services including all internal and external requirements
- Economical design of SEV operational concepts
- Compliance with internal guidelines
- Liaison and coordination of replacement services between railway operators (EVU) and contracting authorities
- Analysis and evaluation of operational concepts
- Planning and determination of bus rotations when required
- Determination of resources and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements
- Enrolled student (m/f/d) in Economics, Engineering, Transport Science or a comparable degree program
- Initial experience in a transport company is an advantage
- Experience in vehicle circulation/rotation planning is desirable
- Confident user of common PC programs (MS Office, email, internet)
- High level of commitment, conscientiousness and reliability
- Structured, analytical working style and planning and organizational skills, as well as very good written communication
- Team player with strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent coordination skills
