About the role
- Workday Integration Developer at MYOB overseeing Workday Financials integrations. Responsible for crafting, delivering, and running secure, high-performing integrations and resolving issues.
Responsibilities
- MYOB is redefining Order to Cash on Workday. As our Workday Integration Developer, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of the integration landscape, where you will be crafting, delivering, and running secure, high-performing integrations across Workday Financials and connected platforms.
- You’ll drive continuous improvement, set high standards for data quality and governance, and partner closely with platform teams and functional experts to deliver scalable, reliable systems whilst contributing to a strong, collaborative engineering culture.
- You will serve as the primary point of contact for integration issue resolution, troubleshooting, and enhancements, including intake, triage, ticket management, root cause analysis, and preventative actions.
Requirements
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of Workday integrations supporting Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, and Prism, including build/configuration, monitoring, SLAs/OLAs, incident, problem, and change management.
- Hands-on proficiency with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface)/DT (Data Transport), RaaS, Calculated Fields, Report Writer, BIRT development and Workday business process awareness.
- Solid experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, REST, SOAP, Java, Kotlin.
- Familiarity with API-led connectivity and event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of Finance data models and upstream/downstream integrations (HR and Payroll knowledge is preferred)
- Practical knowledge of the Workday security model (domain policies, role-based access) and secure handling of PII, auditability, and segregation of duties.
- Proficiency with source control (Git) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps/Jenkins), environment promotion and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring and logging (e.g., Workday Integration Dashboard, Splunk/Datadog) and supporting production incidents with strong problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of SDLC and agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Continuous Delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong collaborator engagement.
- Workday Integration certification(s) highly desirable; Workday Studio certification preferred
