About the role

  • QA Engineer responsible for release quality and testing at MyFundedFutures in the fintech sector. Collaborating with product and engineering teams for automated testing and QA processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own the QA gate for every release - nothing reaches production without the QA sign-off.
  • Radiate knowledge of the trading products and asset classes the platform supports.
  • Stay current with changes to supported asset classes and proactively update test plans.
  • Execute end-to-end regression across all release tickets.
  • Conduct production smoke tests of every production deploy.
  • Maintain a stable, predictable Staging environment for UAT.
  • Build and maintain the automated regression suite covering critical user journeys.
  • Own E2E test coverage; partner with developers on integration and API test coverage.
  • Integrate regression suites into CI pipelines.
  • Drive automation coverage toward a state focused on new features.
  • File all bugs in Jira with clear reproduction steps.
  • Triage and prioritise incoming bugs; communicate release-blocking issues to the team.
  • Work with developers during code review to ensure testability and meaningful test coverage.
  • Support PM UAT on Staging.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of trading markets and financial instruments, including equities, futures, and leveraged asset classes.
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer on web and/or mobile software products.
  • Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated E2E test suites using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of the full QA lifecycle: test planning, regression execution, bug management, environment ownership, and release sign-off.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and the ability to integrate test suites into automated build and release workflows.
  • Experience with Jira or similar for bug tracking and release management.
  • Strong written communication skills - clear, precise bug reports and sign-off documentation are non-negotiable.
  • Ability to work autonomously and alongside a team.
  • Reliable and thorough - you follow through, you don't rubber-stamp, and you treat the QA gate as a genuine responsibility.
  • Experience with React Native and/or Next.js web applications (preferred).
  • Background in fintech, trading platforms, or other regulated/high-stakes software environments (preferred).

  • Comprehensive benefits and performance-based incentives
