Responsibilities

  • Contribute to governance and long-term sustainability
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight
  • Support fundraising and philanthropic initiatives
  • Ensure strong financial stewardship and accountability
  • Act as an ambassador for the Foundation within the community
  • Uphold the mission, values, and fiduciary responsibilities of the Board

Requirements

  • Previous Board experience is an asset but is not required
  • Experience or expertise in fundraising, philanthropy, or donor relations
  • Financial management or accounting experience
  • Marketing, communications, or public relations experience
  • Strategic planning for major capital campaigns
  • Commitment to community service and advancing charitable activities
