About the role
- Project Engineer supporting electrical scope on water treatment plant construction in Gresham, Oregon. Focusing on electrical power distribution and coordination for plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of a defined electrical construction package on a water treatment plant (WTP) project
- Manage package-specific electrical documentation including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, test reports, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, process engineers, controls integrators, and inspectors to resolve design, constructability, and sequencing issues
- Support the Superintendent with daily coordination of electrical subcontractors and plant work areas
- Assist with inspections, installation verification, and electrical testing activities
- Participate in site walks, pre-task planning, and electrical work sequencing discussions
- Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and budget control for electrical scopes
- Support procurement of electrical equipment, including switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and cabling
Requirements
- 2-6 years of Project Engineer or Field Engineer experience
- Experience supporting electrical scopes on water or wastewater facilities
- Ability to read electrical drawings, one-lines and control diagrams
