Project Engineer supporting electrical scope on water treatment plant construction in Gresham, Oregon. Focusing on electrical power distribution and coordination for plant operations.
Responsibilities
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of a defined electrical construction package on a water treatment plant (WTP) project
Manage package-specific electrical documentation including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, test reports, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings
Coordinate with electrical engineers, process engineers, controls integrators, and inspectors to resolve design, constructability, and sequencing issues
Support the Superintendent with daily coordination of electrical subcontractors and plant work areas
Assist with inspections, installation verification, and electrical testing activities
Participate in site walks, pre-task planning, and electrical work sequencing discussions
Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and budget control for electrical scopes
Support procurement of electrical equipment, including switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and cabling
Requirements
2-6 years of Project Engineer or Field Engineer experience
Experience supporting electrical scopes on water or wastewater facilities
Ability to read electrical drawings, one-lines and control diagrams
