About the role

  • Establish a cohesive operational leadership structure under the MD
  • Align processes, KPIs, and performance goals across all UK departments
  • Ensure all teams work toward common objectives and deliverables
  • Drive inter-departmental efficiency through standardised workflows and best practices
  • Optimize utilization of staff and equipment, reducing duplication of effort
  • Implement robust QA measures to enhance client confidence and minimise rework
  • Break down communication barriers between departments
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations nationally to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and lessons learned across teams for consistent outcomes
  • Release time and bandwidth for the MD to focus on strategic growth initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years in operations management, preferably in a technical or project-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of the geospatial industry and its operational challenges
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and influence at senior levels
  • Degree in Business Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Familiarity with project management tools, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to travel nationwide as required
