About the role
- Head of Department leading Digital Engineering team at Murphy Geospatial in Ireland. Overseeing strategy, financial budget, and client relationships for high-profile projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop the departments strategy in collaboration with the Directors and Senior managers
- Responsible for the department’s yearly financial budget and achieving yearly sales targets with department managers’ input
- Responsible for research and innovation on new software and equipment
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business
- Liaise with clients to assess their specific requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
Requirements
- 7+ years of geospatial and engineering management experience
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and BIM procedures
- Proven experience in performance, sales and operations management
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Hold a full IRE driving licence
- Strong policy writing and strategic planning experience
- Strong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, CDEs, and digital workflows
- Good understanding of construction processes and sequencing
- Degree in Geomatics, Engineering, or related field
