About the role
- Service and Maintenance Engineer responsible for operational excellence in production equipment at Munich Electrification. Focused on maintenance, performance optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Equipment stewardship: Maintain testing and production equipment with meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge sharing: Deliver training sessions for our network of suppliers and partners.
- Performance improvement: Apply state-of-the-art techniques to improve KPIs and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Technical troubleshooting: Rapidly collaborate to resolve technical issues from Level 1 to Level 3.
- Maintenance strategy: Develop and implement predictive and corrective maintenance strategies.
- Production support: Ensure smooth transitions during commissioning, ramp-up, and post-SOP phases.
- Change management: Manage change processes seamlessly to minimize disruptions.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with hardware designers, software developers, suppliers, and production partners.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical, automotive engineering, or a related technical field and a passion for innovation.
- Proven experience maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment.
- Knowledge of programming languages, automotive bus systems, and networking.
- Familiarity with production technologies, manufacturing processes, and testing equipment.
- Strong ability to identify optimization opportunities, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience planning and executing maintenance strategies.
- Effective communicator with the ability to convey technical details in cross-functional teams.
