About the role

Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for all plant safety matters at the site
- Planning and conducting safety assessments for existing and new installations
- Evaluation, coordination and further development of safety concepts within the plant
- Maintenance, updating and responsible management of the hazardous substances database
- Creation, revision and documentation of explosion protection documents
- Organization and execution of emission measurements as well as maintenance of the noise register
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, in particular the Machinery Directive including EC conformity assessment
- Participation in cross-site projects and active involvement in the global EHS network
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in plant safety, explosion protection or the Machinery Directive is an advantage
- Very good German and good English skills
- Analytical and structured thinking as well as strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with multiple stakeholders
- Independent and responsible working style
