About the role
- Senior Treasury Analyst providing interest rate risk analysis and reporting to management at M&T Bank. Collaborating with business lines and Treasury teams to develop strategies for balance sheet management.
Responsibilities
- Provides analysis and reporting of interest rate risk to senior management
- Completes monthly analysis and reporting of the Bank’s balance sheet interest rate risk position
- Partners with business lines and Treasury team members to incorporate balance sheet and model assumptions for forecasting
- Assists ALM team to develop ALM strategies
- Documents and maintains proper procedures to serve as a reference for various analyses
- Uses spreadsheet software, OLAP, and Business Intelligence software to develop custom reports
- Promotes an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with coursework and proven proficiency in Finance, Accounting, Economics
- Minimum of 2 years’ related risk management experience
- Balance sheet experience required
- Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) software experience required
