About the role

• Controlling Manager for BASF managing financial planning, reporting, and strategic coordination across the Baltics. Leading a team and collaborating on financial management processes.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of planning & reporting of the budget for AP Baltics.
• Prepare and monitor full Profit & Loss statements for two legal entities (BASF UAB, BASF SIA).
• Prepare monthly reports for APW-Controlling (Net Sales, Gross Profit, Market costs, Margin Performance).
• Produce other business reports for the three Baltic countries, including sales and local costs.
• Steer and coordinate local Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes.
• Ensure consistent and accurate data entry in AP Reporting and SCM systems.
• Manage bonus/rebates by making correct accruals by customer at article level in SAP; calculate seasonal bonuses and issue credits to customers.
• Collaborate with Baltic Sales Managers on pricing, payment terms, and other commercial matters before and during the season.
• Contribute to Baltic S&OP meetings with participation of: Country & Sales Managers, Marketing Manager, Registration Manager, and Forecast Manager.
• Manage and lead a team, including target setting and development dialogues.
• Represent the Baltics in sub-regional and regional meetings.
• Act as a member of the Baltic Management Team for the AP Baltics division.

Requirements

• Higher education, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Experience in financial and commercial roles; leadership experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of business management processes related to sales activities.
• Experience working with SAP or other financial tools and databases.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial processes and results.
• Excellent communicational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with software packages, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in one Baltic language (Lithuanian, Latvian or Estonian) and English (both written and spoken).
