Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase awareness and engagement through community-driven initiatives
Serve as a visible representative of Mount Nittany Health, ensuring the brand is well represented at community events, sponsorship activations, and public engagements.
Coordinate community outreach initiatives, including participation in events, health fairs, and educational programs.
Represent Mount Nittany Health at key events, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment.
Support engagement efforts involving physicians, staff, and volunteers in community outreach and sponsorships
Collaborate with the Mount Nittany Health Foundation to enhance the visibility of philanthropic initiatives and fundraising campaigns through community events, sponsorships, and strategic outreach efforts.
Identify speaking opportunities that align with the organization’s mission and strategic priorities.
Coordinate with internal leaders, clinicians, and other team members to match the right speakers to the right events.
Provide speakers with key messaging and training as needed.
Track engagement and impact to refine the program over time.
Coordinate a structured, multi-stakeholder decision-making process for prioritizing sponsorship opportunities.
Develop and maintain a sponsorship evaluation tool to assess sponsorship effectiveness, community impact, and return on investment.
Track and manage the sponsorship budget, ensuring funds are allocated effectively and align with strategic priorities
Support the identification and coordination of sponsorship opportunities that align with Mount Nittany Health’s mission and community engagement goals.
Manage sponsorship agreements, ensuring deliverables are met and sponsors receive appropriate materials.
Track and report sponsorship performance to leadership and stakeholders.
Work closely with the Mount Nittany Health Foundation to align sponsorship and grant efforts with philanthropic priorities in support of Mount Nittany Health’s mission and strategic priorities.
Identify collaborative opportunities with community partners to enhance program impact and funding opportunities.
Identify opportunities to broaden Mount Nittany Health Foundation’s reach by engaging new community networks, potential donors, and geographic areas to support strategic growth and fundraising efforts.
Support the recruitment for and promotion of the volunteer program at community events, helping to grow the volunteer engagement through outreach and visibility.
Share donor intelligence and relevant system updates with key Mount Nittany Health Foundation stakeholders to ensure alignment, provide timely updates, and prevent potential overlap or miscommunication in community or donor engagements.
Identify and cultivate partnerships with community based organizations to support the Mount Nittany Health Foundation’s philanthropic goals, amplify campaign reach, and enhance collaborative funding opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, healthcare administration, business, nonprofit management, or a related field required.
Five years of experience in community engagement, corporate sponsorships, nonprofit partnerships, brand activation, or related fields, preferably within healthcare or a mission-driven organization.
Experience managing sponsorship programs, grant funding, or community outreach initiatives, including stakeholder collaboration and evaluation of impact.
Strong background in event coordination, public speaking, and relationship-building with community organizations, corporate partners, and internal stakeholders.
Experience working with healthcare organizations, foundations, or nonprofit sectors is a plus.
Proficiency in budget management, impact measurement, and reporting to demonstrate ROI on sponsorship and grant initiatives.
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage diverse audiences.
