About the role
- Co-Op Student- Transmission Line Engineer supporting senior engineers in preparation of reports and design activities. Learning work processes and engineering protocols in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Learning and understanding work process flows as well as engineering protocols.
- Supporting Senior Engineers in preparation of reports; including, related engineering calculations.
- Carrying out design activities under the supervision and guidance of senior Engineers.
- Assisting more experienced technical Engineers with specific aspects of project work.
- Providing support to as well as developing and establishing communication with internal team to ensure that work flows smoothly.
Requirements
- Successful completion of at least first year of an undergraduate degree program in Electrical or Structural Engineering.
- Experience and knowledge of engineering design packages such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Google Earth, Visual Basic, or XML.
