About the role

  • Engineer focusing on Electrical and Instrumentation for rotating equipment in oil and gas at Ingersoll Rand. Collaborating with project partners in Europe on engineering deliverables and project planning.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical and Instrumentation support for Rotating equipment packages for oil and Gas, Chemical Industries.
  • Work with project partners located in Europe to understand project requirements and deliver electrical and instrumentation engineering documents, data sheets and drawings.
  • Work with suppliers and customers to finalize P&ID and electrical-instrumentation design.
  • Develop project tracking mechanisms and create project plans for each project in alignment with master schedule developed by project partners.
  • Ensure delivery of projects as committed with very high on time delivery (OTD) and First Pass Yield (FPY).

Requirements

  • 3+ Years of Hands-on experience in engineering, selection and release of field instrumentation required as per customer specifications.
  • 3+ Years of experience in interpreting P&ID, creating power and control wiring schematics using AutoCAD for control panels, instrumentation systems in oil and gas industry.
  • Excellent interpretation of ATEX, IECEx, IEC, UL standards.
  • 3+ Years of experience in creating deliverables but not limited to instrument data sheet, I/O List, Instrument index, Cable schedule, Cause & effect matrix, Control narrative, Junction box schedule etc.
  • Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Overall experience of 3-4 years in relevant field.
  • Excellent communication skills.
