About the role
- Senior Full Stack Engineer developing financial products at Mollie. Taking ownership of product development and collaborating with cross-functional teams in Milan.
Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of the end to end development of a new product with a dedicated team
- Iterating from idea to final solution: shaping, building, testing, and measuring the performance of features
- Help us design and engineer systems that can scale to handle high volumes of transactions
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Mollie’s engineering teams
- Lead technical initiatives from architecture design to implementation
- Utilize your creative problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to resolve complex issues
- Create comprehensive documentation to facilitate domain knowledge sharing
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in developing large-scale applications, preferably with Java or PHP
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular
- Proven experience in leading architectural decisions and technical initiatives, delivering end-to-end solutions, and optimising processes
- Excellent communication skills, with experience working effectively with various stakeholders
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to shape ideas with a product-first approach
- Ability to hold yourself accountable for your tasks
