Requirements
- Experience with data analysis and modeling applied to the oil & gas industry
- Previous experience in energy-sector companies or projects involving data engineering and analytics
- Experience in operational optimization projects, predictive maintenance, and asset monitoring
- Programming languages: Python, R, SQL
- Machine Learning & Statistics: predictive modeling, time series, machine learning
- Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Data Engineering: ETL, Apache Spark, Databricks
- Experience with Power BI
- Cloud Computing: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (focus on the infrastructure used by Petrobras) and Big Data technologies: Hadoop, Kafka
- DevOps and MLOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD
- Analytical capability and strategic vision to turn data into actionable insights
- Clear communication to interact with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, IT, business)
- Proactivity in solving operational problems and supporting decision-making
- Adaptability to regulated environments and agile methodologies
- Degree: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields
- Postgraduate: Postgraduate degree or MBA in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Big Data
- Certification: At least one of the following certifications: PMI-ACP, CBPP, BPM or Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt), PMP, Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Team Kanban Practitioner (TKP), or Official SAFe® certification
- Preferred: Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Solutions Architect, and Automation Anywhere
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for advanced data analysis
- Desired certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Google Professional Data Engineer, certifications in Big Data, Machine Learning, and Analytics
