About the role

  • Sales Center Manager overseeing operations at Dal-Tile, ensuring store objectives and revenue goals are met while managing personnel. Develops customer relationships and implements strategic plans.

Responsibilities

  • Manage store operations and personnel to ensure all activities are performed in accordance with company policies
  • Achieves revenue, budget and other business objectives for each fiscal year
  • Develops business relationships with key customers
  • Clearly defines goals and objectives for SSC personnel
  • Provides leadership and direction in the pursuit of store objectives
  • Develops and implements strategic plans to accommodate corporate goals
  • Advises customer on product selection and pricing
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of SSC to conform to budgetary requirements
  • Ensures prudent credit transactions and manages account collections
  • Manages store metrics to ensure performance
  • Ensures compliance with Human Resource policies

Requirements

  • HS diploma and 5+ years relevant sales experience required OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 1+ years of relevant sales experience
  • 4 years prior selling experience
  • Prior customer service experience is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years previous management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks
