About the role
- Senior Product Manager overseeing AI delivery pods and driving tech initiatives at Oliver Wyman. Accelerating project success through strategic alignment and resource coordination.
Responsibilities
- Drive and execute AI-enabled OWG Tech initiatives aligned with departmental or organizational strategy
- Lead one or more AI delivery pods, coordinating engineers, QA, architecture, and UX resources
- Develop effective project plans with defined objectives, deliverables, milestones, and communication plans
- Manage project resources and budget to ensure objectives are met
- Partner with OWG Tech managers to ensure roles and expectations are clearly defined and understood
- Identify critical paths and risks within AI-enabled initiatives and facilitate mitigation
- Create and maintain relationships with business and technology stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive project and delivery documentation
- Report project health and status utilizing agreed project management systems and tools
- Ensure project closure meetings are held and produce closure reports highlighting outcomes and areas for improvement
- Ensure AI-enabled initiatives progress from proof-of-concept through to production-ready solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product and project management
- Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, negotiation, and consensus building
- In-depth knowledge of technology project management methodologies and frameworks
- A solid technical background with experience in product ownership and relationship management
- Working knowledge of AI concepts and capabilities
- Proficient in budgeting, invoicing, and project financial management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent experience
- Scrum Master certification required
