About the role

  • Data Product Owner responsible for data products aligned with business outcomes on Microsoft Fabric platform. Collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams for data analytics and AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for defining, prioritizing, and owning data products on the Microsoft Fabric platform
  • Ensure that data, analytics, and AI initiatives are aligned with business outcomes
  • Establish a product-centric operating model for data that will scale across the organization
  • Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable requirements for data, analytics, and AI
  • Ensure that delivered data products drive measurable business outcomes
  • Identify and prioritize high-value data products aligned with business goals
  • Define success metrics, KPIs, and acceptance criteria for data products
  • Manage and refine the data product backlog in partnership with engineering teams
  • Collaborate with architects to ensure product requirements align with platform standards
  • Drive stakeholder alignment, communication, and change management
  • Measure data product usage, value, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • Five or more years of experience in product management, analytics, or related roles
  • Product management or Agile certifications preferred
  • Data or analytics certifications a plus
  • Understanding of data and analytics concepts (metrics, dashboards, data products)
  • Familiarity with Agile product ownership and backlog management practices
  • Requirements definition and prioritization techniques
  • Familiarity with analytics and AI delivery lifecycles
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments
  • Strong outcome-oriented decision-making skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements
  • Ability to communicate priorities and value across diverse audiences
