About the role

  • Support and advise on our research strategies with our stakeholders, including clients
  • Compile and synthesize health and workforce data from claims, public health datasets, external public health sites, MMB data sets etc.
  • Assess project requirements and pull together multi-disciplinary teams of local/regional/global subject matter experts to keep projects on time
  • Support presentations for industry seminars and conferences
  • Support the development of white papers, blogs and other published material
  • Support training of the consulting community

Requirements

  • An advanced degree, preferably in epidemiology or in a related area
  • At least 2 years of experience working in public health, climate health, population health management, or global health role
  • Experience constructing research in key areas of interest including population health, econometrics, health system strengthening, digital health, climate and health, and health transformation
  • Data management and analysis experience preferred with prior experience using software tools including but not limited to Excel, R, Tableau, ArcGIS, SQL, Python, SPSS, SAS, and/or STATA.
  • Oral and written fluency in English
  • Experience in drafting presentations with pertinent narratives based on published literature
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Ability to coordinate with colleagues, clients and vendors in a professional manner through email, teleconference, and meetings
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and think out of the box
  • Ability to manage and deliver work in a timely fashion
  • Proactive communication and project management with internal and external organizations and related projects
  • Team player, creative, enthusiastic
  • Comfort or willingness to learn public speaking and presentations
  • Strong influencing skills and teaching background welcome
  • No limitations on travel with appropriate timelines
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate global partners
