• Claims Consultant providing quality PAL claims consulting services to MMA Michigan clients. Responsibilities include claims management, client advocacy, and developing best practices in claims resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality property, auto, and liability (PAL) claims consulting services to MMA Michigan clients.
• Obtain claim status updates from carrier partners.
• Provide suggestions and recommendations to adjusters to assist with claim resolutions.
• Develop claims management strategies with clients and document activity.
• Help clients reduce the cost of claims and provide necessary information for the best claims management approach.
• Train and act as an educational resource for clients.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of PAL claims experience including strong knowledge of insurance carrier claims services.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must be detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and high sense of urgency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Prior success and experience operating in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, management and peers.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service-related skills.
• Proficiency in MS office applications required.
• AIC, ARM, CIC or CRM, equivalent preferred.
