About the role
- Senior Engineer providing ownership and support for semiconductor manufacturing infrastructure projects at Micron. Leading project execution and collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, construction, and operations of semiconductor manufacturing infrastructure across Micron’s global network
- Manage large-scale projects, including U.S. Greenfield FABs, with a focus on engineering innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Manufacturing, IT, Procurement, Construction, O&M, and other teams to ensure project alignment and execution
- Ensure facility systems are reliable, efficient, scalable, and aligned with Micron’s global standards and strategic objectives
- Integrate sustainability principles into facility design and operations, supporting corporate environmental goals
- Provide technical leadership and oversight throughout the full lifecycle of facility projects
Requirements
- Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7 years proven experience in Facility I&C/ELV design and engineering for Semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech industries
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 15-25% of the time, up to 30% during critical project phases
- Proven ability to plan, drive and complete projects effectively
- Proven skills in working effectively with team members from different subject areas
