About the role

  • Provide support for Engineers and Scientists in the R&D Department while conducting research activities and performing laboratory functions. Ensure organization and cleanliness of equipment and working area.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Engineers and Scientists within the R&D Department
  • Conduct research activities as assigned
  • Perform functions such as batching, milling, printing and testing of products
  • Operate a broad array of laboratory processes and equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting and selecting solutions
  • Compile testing results and analysis
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of working area and instruments

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline
  • A minimum of 2 or more years of experience in a laboratory setting
  • Experience within materials science or related field is preferred
  • Broad proficiency with equipment operation and testing procedures
  • Fundamental understanding of the science behind testing
  • Familiarity with metals, glass, oxides, resins, solvents and associated properties
