About the role
- Senior Business Intelligence Engineer at Quant enabling accurate reports and operational efficiency for portfolio management. Collaborating with stakeholders and optimizing data warehouse infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Providing Data availability for all reporting ecosystem;
- Creating new data by manipulating existing data for all sources / systems Quant uses;
- Exporting / importing data from / to all Quant systems to help day to day operations and increase operational efficiency;
- R&D i.e. Machine learning / AI / modelling;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into analytical and reporting solutions;
- Work closely with data engineering team to optimize data warehouse infrastructure for business needs;
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the Banking or Consulting industry for at least 5 years preferably in the NPL sector;
- Attention to detail & accuracy and high level of ownership;
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Aptitude to learn new technologies and skills in order to expand Analytics tools;
- Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science or equivalent. MSc will be considered as a plus;
- Strong computer skills including SQL, MS Power BI platform and Microsoft Office. Prior experience with Python, MS Reporting Services & MS Integration Services will be considered as a plus; and
- English fluency and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
