About the role

  • Product Manager focused on leading data, reporting, and integrations for Minga's education platform. Collaborating with teams to improve school culture and decision-making with data insights.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product areas focused on data, reporting, and integrations, including teacher/admin dashboards, school-wide insights, and how data flows between Minga, SIS systems, and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with our data partner and internal teams to expand the data Minga can ingest and improve how we write data back to SIS and other district systems.
  • Explore early AI opportunities, like translating complex data into simple stories for educators or reducing manual workflows between systems.
  • Meet with customers regularly to uncover the real pain points behind their data and reporting needs.
  • Turn those insights into clear requirements, prototypes, and product improvements that deliver measurable impact.
  • Define success metrics, track them, and use data to drive decisions that improve outcomes for schools.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and Go-to-Market teams to plan, build, ship, and iterate on your work.
  • Embrace discovery, test assumptions often, and bring structure to ambiguous problem spaces.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS.
  • Experience working with data, reporting, analytics, or integrations (comfortable with technical concepts, even if you’re not “technical”).
  • Strong customer empathy, you know how to ask great questions, listen deeply, and turn insights into decisions.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach to working with designers, engineers, and customer facing teams.
  • A comfort with ambiguity, you enjoy figuring things out and shaping the path forward.
  • Ability to use data to inform prioritization and product direction.
  • Interest in or familiarity with AI, and curiosity about how it can improve data communication and cross-system workflows.
  • Bonus: Experience in edtech, K-12 environments, or school SIS systems (not required).

Benefits

  • Flexible paid time off including vacation + additional personal days
  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits for you and your family
  • Mental health and wellness support
  • Supportive, visible leadership: Monthly CEO lunch & learns, transparent updates, and a leadership that genuinely listens.
  • Culture of connection: Monthly team lunches, happy hours, social events, and 2 annual offsite events to bring us all together
  • Learning & development: Dedicated time and budget to invest in your growth
  • Celebrating the wins: From Slack shoutouts to company-wide moments, we pause to recognize the progress, big and small
