About the role
- Project Controller ensuring project scheduling, financial health, and overall performance in Manchester. Supporting diverse clients across the Northwest while managing multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Ensure project activities are scheduled realistically and adjusted as needed while monitoring critical paths and dependencies to avoid delays.
- Monitor project progress and milestones to ensure timelines are met. Developing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
- Work with the project team to identify financial, scheduling, and resource-related risks.
- Budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring.
- Manage and optimise the use of project management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project).
Requirements
- Experience in Project Scheduling, Planning, Cost Control and Risk Management
- Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Project Management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project).
- A relevant qualification such as from APM (PMQ, PPQ), PRINCE2 or PMP would be of benefit.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
